Building dedication January 19, 1990

St. John Grande placed his whole being at the service of the sick and joined the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God.   He had a vision of Jesus covered with wounds and telling him to “go to the hospital and in caring for the sick you will heal my wounds”.  Moved by that vision, St. John Grande joined the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God and immediately set up his own hospital.
